Edible Communities announced on May 24, the finalists for the 2016 Eddy Awards. 51 publishers submitted over 600 entries in 21 categories including Best Feature for Market or Shop, Garden Story and Digital - All of which Edible Indy were chosen as finalists. Edible Communities has enlisted the judging of many well known and respected foodies, writers, chefs, creative directors and more. The public is allowed to vote daily and includes optimization for mobile and smart devices. Voting starts May 25 and ends June 8th with winners being announced on June 15th.

Edible Indy is a finalist in the following categories:

Best Feature Market or Shop: The Little Shop That Could - Saint Adrian's Meats & Sausages, written by Karen Kennedy, photography by Mary McClung. Featured in Edible Indy Winter 2015.

Best Garden Feature: The Dirt on Gardening, written by Jo Ellen Meyers Sharp. Featured in Edible Indy Summer 2015.

Best Digital: Edible Indy Website

Edible Indy was a finalist in 2015 with Best Digital, Best Social Media and Best Video. Awards will be given at the annual Edible Institute hosted in Chicago fall of this year.
